The algorithm of outliers search was included into the DB: concentrations in unified units out of +/-1,5*IQR interval are analyzed, approved, marked in the results table and excluded from the calculation of weighted mean and SD values.

Patients subgroups are marked in the results table and their concentration values are not included in the weighted statistics calculation to avoid overestimation of the values assigned to the same patients from different overlaped groups.

Molecular weights are introduced to the DB from PubChem and UniProt according to molecules IDs to recalculate original units (i.e. pg/mL) to unified units (pM).

“Calculate weighted statistics” option was added to the Query page. It allows to obtain weighted mean and SD value for a set of cell/molecule concentrations uploaded to the results table.

PMID field was added to Query page which allows to download the data from certain article. Special unit coefficients and averaged concentration of the ‘parent’ cell as well as “Additional info” section with DB content were added to Supplementary materials.

"Clear form" button was added to Query manager. It allows to clear all fields on the Query page to make a new query. Annotator/Reviewer comment fields were updated. Change log editor was added.

Supplementary materials section was extended with the tissue parameters list used for unit conversion. The DB was extended with new data: 7 diseases, 2 tissues, 4 molecules, 15 cells and 1584 concentrations were introduced. For this purpose 46 articles were reviewed.

Table result was extended with new columns - Experimental method, Patient group description, Species value description.

Query page was updated. "Query to apply" is the list of pre-saved queries that became available. Now several species instead of one can be chosen from the list. Tissue types and diseases lists are now automatically truncated after species selection according to data availability in the DB. "Query manager" section was implemented. It allows to save new queries and delete unused queries. Two new buttons were added above the table results. They allow to make hidden or visible patient group attributes and disease attributes in the table results. Average type, Dispersion type and Experimental method lists were hidden as unused on the query page. The new column "Species value in ISF" was added to the table results. It contains cell concentrations recalculated to interstitial fluid volume, whereas "Species value" column shows cell concentrations in total tissue volume. "Review statistics" was updated and "Usage statistics" was implemented in frames of the Statistics page. "Failed checks" tool was implemented to reveal outliers for additional control of the annotation process on the Manage page. The PR page was added to perform Query statistics analysis. "Home" button was added to the upper menu to show general DB information including the content of CYTOCON DB and the lists of diseases, tissues, cells and molecules. The manual on the home page was updated with the instructions of search possibilities of the new Query page.

Concept of "Special units" was proposed and corresponding annotation and review forms were implemented in backend of the database. This tool allows us to include into the DB such kind of units for cell subtypes as % of cells_markers_tissue_disease (percent of "parent" cell characterized by particular set of markers) and to recalculate them to unified units whether cells concentration was measured in the annotated article or not. In the first case the concentration of cell subtypes is calculated on the basis of the concentration of "parent" cell available in the article. In the second case the average concentration of the "parent" cell in the particular tissue and disease is taken from the DB.
The order of the columns with patient group attributes was changed in the Table results to be more convenient to interpret the data.
The DB was extended with new data: 7 diseases, 1 tissue, 26 molecules and 1866 concentrations were introduced. For these purposes 28 articles were reviewed.

Section Supplementary material was added containing three parts - Unit conversion, Molecular weights and Tissue parameters used for unit conversion.
Query, Table results, column Unified units is now filled with kcell/L for cells and pM for molecules.
The bug of the previous version has been fixed: now search for data with selection of two or more diseases is available.
